Predicament of Supporting the Aged in the Rural Areas of Hebei Province

ABSTRACT:
In the winter of 2008, the author investigated L village in Hebei
Province and obtained a set of individual information about the
difficulties in supporting the aged. The current difficulties and
emergent problems in the ways of supporting the aged in the rural areas
were surveyed and analyzed qualitatively. It showed that the
senectitude lives of the swinked peasants are not optimistic in rural
areas with the major style of family supporting in the current richer
time. The difficulties are not only the lack of consumer goods but
loneliness.
